The Jeans Team Store concept is the abstraction of the elements that you can find in a empty motor garage, turned into denim gallery and a cloth displays, with car and bike expositions. The store manages different kinds of brands, that mutate the visual appearance of the store in every season. Because of the flexibility that the store needs, the design was thought of as a group of modular changing racks that can be moved and replaced for every situation that the brand and the collection requires.

Magnum Ice Cream is busy celebrating its 25th birthday this year in grand style. Few weeks ago they announced a collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana to create a special designer ice cream, and now it’s the turn of Selfridges.

As part of Selfridges’ summer food campaign called Meet the Makers, ice cream maker will launch “Make My Magnum Bar” on June 30th at Selfridges Concept Store in the Wonder Room in London’s Oxford Street.

Based on a restrained budget restriction the project uses a enhanced existing shell with a full gold lacquered iron rod furniture fixtures in different solution such as total look cages or simple freestanding hanging fixtures. Many furniture element have been recovered from local street markets and melted with brand new design units. The final result fits perfectly into the historical Carpis context.

London's Mayfair district has always been a prestigious shopping area, but these past few years the prestige of a brand's presence in this part of town truly resonates on a global scale. High-end british retailer Jigsaw has raised its profile by opening a concept store on duke street, one that innovatively clusters a number of its labels and activities. The so-called duke street emporium occupies 5,500 sq.ft. [511 sqm.], spread over two floors of a late 19th-century building with a beautiful ornate façade. In an age increasingly focused upon digital media the retail formula intentionally returns to the shopping experience as a pleasure and is void of electronic gadgets and gizmos. and although the approach may sound traditional, the retail setting is distinctly contemporary.

There's an eclectic use of materials, and each store section boasts a different atmosphere that matches the merchandise on offer. Duke street Emporium not only carries the full range of jigsaw's men's and women's collections, but there's also a designated area with coveted offerings by its the shop at bluebird retail concept. the brand list is edgy and more adventurous, and includes Ostwald Helgason, Maison Kitsuné and Tsumori Chisato for women, and Levi's vintage clothing, grenson and stutterheim for men.

But that's not all. An edited range of homeware, cosmetics, books and magazines, in addition to a cozy in-store café operated by Fernandez & Wells, all add up to the lifestyle shopping experience. location: 55 duke street [mayfair].

GAP'S 'LIVED IN' CONCEPT STORE ON FIFTH AVENUE

Last week, Gap debuted the latest incarnation of its Fifth Avenue concept store, comfortably called "Lived In."

Reminding customers of the pleasures of in-person shopping, it features a selection of classic Gap merchandise along with third-party offerings that are supposed to bring an "authentically local shopping experience [to] the middle of Manhattan."

THE PLACE CONCEPT STORE IN BUCHAREST

Un concept store ce respecta principiile si definitia unui astfel de magazin. Unul din elementele definitorii pentru un astfel de spatiu este gama variata de produse semnate de designeri celebri si faptul ca magazinul se adreseaza unei anumite categorii sociale si unui anumit tip de life style.

Interiorul magazinului este condimentat de colectiile unor designeri celebri precum Alexander Wang, Alexander McQueen, Jason Wu, Azzedine Alaia, Chloé, Jil Sander, Christian Louboutin, Herve Leger, Giuseppe Zanotti, Isabel Marant dar si creatiile unor designeri romani (Razvan Firea, Maria Marinescu, 109, Murmur-Andreea Badala).
The Place este o destinatie nu doar pentru reinoirea garderobei, poti trece si pentru o carte, un parfum, un accesoriu chic sau poate chiar pentru un happening gazduit in magazin.
Interiorul este simplu si usor de parcurs iar un element atipic ce ne-a trezit atentia este un “shop in shop” Louboutin, evidentiat printr-un perete rosu si o mocheta rosie ce formeaza impreuna un punct de focalizare.
In rest asa cum ai sta bine unui concept store s-a adoptat un floor layout de tip minimal (non permanent) si o serie de elemente decorative ce iti indica faptul ca nu esti intr-un magazin orecare.

Am ramas impresionati de cabinelede proba...de aspectul lor ingrijit si primitor. Nu de foarte multe ori ne este dat sa vedem cabine in care clientul se simte in largul sau.

La nivel teoretic se spune ca persoanele care nu au o afinitate cu lumea modei au o anumita retinere in vizitarea magazinelor de tip high-end, cocept store sau luxury boutique, simtindu-se putin stanjenite si analizate in interiorul acestora. The Plae este diferit... atmosfera este primitoare si degajata chiar si pentru persoane straine de lumea modei si a tenditelor sezoniere iar personalul din magazin stie cum sa va faca sederea si navigarea printre produse si mai placuta oferindu-va informatii si sugestii. Este unul din magazinele care merita vizitate ori de cate ori aveti drum prin Dorobanti, pentru ca specificul unui concept store este marfa care se "roteste" foarte repede in magazin, deci posibil sa gasiti ceva nou la fiecare vizita.
