Tom Ford has just launched an exclusive space to merchandise his
products. Before launching this first London store, this brand was
available for shopping at department stores as Selfridges, Harrods and
Harvey Nichols.
The space with 8.000 sq. feet designed by a long time friend and interior designer William Sofield features all product lines.
The ground floor displays menswear and women accessories that has also a
space created for cosmetics and fragrances. A new perfume specially
developed for this launching will be sold only in store for the next 6
months. British portal WGSN still tells Ford is going to launch a men
grooming line soon.
Second floor dedicated to women fashion mostly also has rooms for men tailoring and even VIP services as a luxurious salon.
The store design is elegant and contemporary with shiny white
walls and some chromatic elements that are highlighted inside in this
predominant black and withe space. The stairs are probably the most
exquisite feature in this store. Lamps following its shape are smart and
stands out in a very sleek way.
“Our British customers are among the most discerning and stylish in the
world,” said Ford to WGSN. “Opening our first directly operated flagship
in the UK is an important step in solidifying our position as a global
luxury brand.”
