The good folks over at the Australian boutique cosmetic-maker Aēsop have long been creating stunning hair and skincare products and today they return with a detailed look at their pop-up shop in New York City. The shop can be found in a corner of Brooklyn’s Invisible Dog Art Centre, where the temporary installation is both a platform for Aēsop’s premium range of hair and skincare products and a work of conceptual art.

The main focus in a large glass-fronted wooden case set against one wall, is filled with row upon row of coloured sand, layered to appear like peaks in a mountain range. Over the coming weeks the sand will slowly shift, making something truly unique and rather interesting.
